In AltspaceVR, you can host events from anywhere in the world: from home, from work… or even from a hospital bed. Vivian Chazen, VR host, did not allow being hospitalized to stop her from pursuing her goals. Bedridden, getting a blood transfusion and bravely battling cancer, she defied all odds and hosted a Valentine’s day matchmaking event.
“The Love Game”
Teaming up with the folks at AltspaceVR and using only her Samsung GearVR, she impressively managed to host an exciting and new kind of event: a matchmaking game called “The Love Game.” She embraced the challenges of running a VR production while taking advantage of the endless possibilities of connecting with people across the world— especially the lonely, isolated but unstoppable people in inconvenient situations. It’s not only about where you can go in a VR headset, it’s also about where you can physically experience it from and who shares the experience with you.
She is a shining example of strength and perseverance in the face of adversity— and we’re proud to have the opportunity to collaborate with people like her. Thank you Vivian!
